Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the services provided by Essential Water Blasting ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") to the client ("Client", "you", or "homeowner") for pressure washing and related exterior cleaning services.

1. Services Provided

The Company offers the following services:

• House washing (soft and pressure)
• Gutter cleaning and flushing
• Roof treatment (including chemical/moss treatments)
• Roof cleaning
• Solar panel cleaning
• Pressure washing (including driveways, patios, walkways, etc.)

All services are carried out professionally using appropriate equipment, chemicals, and techniques suited to the surfaces being treated.

2. Service Limitations and Risk Acknowledgment

a. Water Intrusion and Leaks

The Client acknowledges that water may enter the home or building through vents, doors, windows, cracks, or gaps. While precautions are taken to minimize this risk, we cannot guarantee complete prevention. The Company is not liable for resulting interior water damage, including damage to walls, ceilings, floors, or contents.

b. Pre-existing Conditions

We are not responsible for damages resulting from pre-existing issues, including:

• Loose or damaged siding, roofing, trim, or guttering
• Faulty window or door seals
• Cracked or deteriorated surfaces
• Peeling paint or oxidized materials

c. Surface Damage

Due to the nature of pressure washing, surfaces not designed to handle pressure may incur damage. We are not responsible for:

• Paint removal
• Etching or scarring of concrete or stone
• Warping of vinyl or soft materials

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed
• Notify us of any existing leaks or fragile areas
• Remove or protect personal items near work areas
• Provide access to an outdoor water tap
• Keep pets and children indoors during service
• Inform neighbours if necessary

4. Chemicals and Environmental Considerations

We use eco-friendly cleaning solutions whenever possible. However, certain treatments may require stronger chemicals. The Company is not liable for:

• Plant or landscaping damage from runoff
• Discoloration or corrosion caused by chemical exposure

5. Scheduling and Weather Conditions

All bookings are weather-dependent. In the event of heavy rain, wind, or unsafe conditions, services may be postponed. We will notify the Client of any changes as early as possible.

6. Payments, Invoices and Late Fees

a. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 5 calendar days of job completion.

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash
• Bank Transfer
• Debit Card

b. Late Fees

A late fee of 20% of the invoice total will apply to any payment not received within 5 days. Additional costs may be charged to recover unpaid debts, including administrative or legal recovery fees.

c. Cancellations

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled service may incur a $150 cancellation fee.
• Clients must provide at least 72 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid any charges.

7. Liability and Insurance

Essential Water Blasting is fully insured for public liability. The Client agrees that our liability is limited to proven cases of gross negligence. We are not responsible for:

• Property damage under $500
• Incidents caused by pre-existing damage or structural issues

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will take reasonable steps to address and resolve the issue promptly.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any legal disputes will be handled in the relevant jurisdiction in Auckland.

10. Acceptance

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
